The Ghost Town Blues Band is a Memphis-based blues and blues rock band formed in 2009. They have released five albums since 2010, with their 2019 album "Shine" reaching number one on the US Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart. The band has opened for notable artists such as the Steve Miller Band, John Mayall, Keb' Mo', Jonny Lang, John Lee Hooker Jr., and Booker T. Jones. They are known for their unique stage show, which includes an unusual array of musical instruments, such as organs, cigar box guitars, harmonicas, electric push brooms, brass, and percussion. The band's frontman, Matt Isbell, has a background in piano and guitar, and he has been influenced by the music of Todd Snider. The band's live performances have been described as captivating and energetic, making them one of the "must see live bands on the festival scene today."
